Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!
This week, we watched a tornado survivor tearfully reunite with her cat on camera, admired a gorgeous one-eyed cat tribute tattoo, got the scoop on kitties in New Orleans, learned the secrets behind creating a successful viral cat video, met the artist behind popular fat cat works of art, and were introduced to Japan's cat idol supergroup, NKB48!
Elsewhere, we got hyped for Season 2 of "Must Love Cats", a pawtographed Keyboard Cat headshot hit the auction block, an ISP traded cat pictures for an extra router, and several of you are getting very cool new bathroom accessories thanks to this post about a quirky kitty toilet seat cover and rug!
Finally, on a personal note: I'd like to send a big thank you out to PetPR.com for naming me as their featured blogger of the week. Meow!
Reggae and Mowgli
This week's featured felines are a cuddly black & white pair that are the yin to the other's yang.
"These are my kitties Reggae and Mowgli. Reggae is the black female and Mowgli is the white male. I adopted Reggae after my friend found a litter of kittens in a garbage dumpster. I later adopted Mowgli from a woman who found him on a highway close to my home city. When they found him, he was a mere 7 pounds and was bald. As you can see they are the best of friends and both have flourished!"
Reggae is giving it to the camera! I love their coordinating mice!
Special thanks to Natasha for sharing her striking duo with us this week. The way Mowgli is resting his head on Reggae's back in that first picture just melts my heart!
