CCTV Footage Implicates Woman in Catnapping Case

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but did one wronged woman go too far when she sought revenge by kidnapping the cat belonging to her husband's girlfriend?

Christine Hemming, wife of British Parliament member John Hemming, was found guilty of burglary this week in the case, where she was accused of catnapping the kitten from the other woman's home last year. During the trial, Hemming told jurors, "I had no intention of stealing a cat - either before I went on the property, when I was at the property, when I left the property, and subsequently," however the CCTV footage paints a very different picture as she enters Emily Cox's home and emerges shortly afterwards while very clearly holding the cat, named Beauty. There's still no word on if the cat was ever returned, but according to an entry on Hemming's blog last year, Beauty was six months old at the time, and was set to be microchipped soon.
