Man Attempts to Interview Cats for Hard Hitting Japanese Cat Food Commercial

(Click here to watch if video doesn't load)

If there's one thing missing from cat food commercials these days, it's the perspective of real life, working class cats who have something to say. Instead of relying on cutesy antics or storybook weddings, one Japanese cat food company took this to task, and hit the streets in search of felines willing to be interviewed on camera, with hilariously predictable results. (The swatting kitty at 0:10 gets me every time!)

I used to buy cat food made by that brand when I lived in Japan. Japanese cat food is of amazingly high quality.

Loved the lack of interest on the part of the kitties when they were asked what they thought about a well-balanced diet...

translation :
Reporter: I'll talk to the cats about their daily health. Reporter: Do you think about your nutritional balance? Cat: ... Reporter: What's the thing that you're most cautious about when it comes to food? Cat: ... *poke* Reporter: Do you think about your nutritional balance? Cat: ... (Cats are not interested in health) Reporter: Are you concerned about your eating habits and your health? (People have to choose for them) We choose our fish with raw material and nutrition in mind.
