It's Caturday!

Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!

This week, Tubby Tabby Tiny Tim inspired diet success, J. Crew unleashed their "feline fabulous" Tabby sweater, Ke$ha showed her softer side while cuddling a kitten on the cover of Seventeen, "Downton Abbey's" opening credits got the kitty treatment, and we checked out some fun and flirty feline finery from Accessorize!

Also, I'm excited to report that the episode of "The Dr. Oz Show" that I taped last month is scheduled to air this coming Tues., Jan 8! The episode is called America's Funniest Health Videos, and features Tom Bergeron and Stacy London. I appear in a segment about unusual home remedies, and you'll (hopefully) see me giving Dr. Oz a kitty litter facial! It should be pretty funny, so check your local listings, and tune in!

LillyBelle

This week's featured feline is a beautiful white kitty with a sweet story (and a purse fetish!).

April writes:

This is one of my fur babies (I have four in total). Her name is LillyBelle. She has always had a love affair with my purses. If they are down on the floor she lays on them. If they are hanging somewhere, she pulls them down and lays on them. I still don't know why!

LillyBelle with her fursibs, Tai Tai, Alice, and Primrose.

LillyBelle was a homeless mother of two that was picked up by a local cat sanctuary program. I had planned on adopting a kitten and went there to look at her babies, but the lady told me how no one ever adopted the mothers, which, in most cases were not that old. I asked if the mother of the kittens was on the premises, and she took me to a back room, where in a cage there was my Lilly. I handed the kitten back to the woman and took the mother instead. Best choice I've ever made! She's not only the boss of the other three cats in the house - she tells me when it's time to go to bed, and tries to "save" me from the bathtub!

Another look at April's youngest cat, baby Prim!

Special thanks to April for sharing Miss LillyBelle and the rest of her furry family with us this week! Kudos to her for giving this mama cat a second chance!

Very pretty kitties. I have a cat that use to love my purse until one day he got the handles stuck on his body and freaked out. No more purses for him. LOL.

How cool! We'll DVR the Dr. Oz Show, and watch for you!

We like the part of April's story where she says, "she's not only the boss of the other three cats in the house..." From that second to last picture, we can see it's true! :)
