It's Caturday!

Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!

This week was all about feline fashion: Choupette shined in a glamorous Parisian photo shoot alongside Laetitia Casta, we went crazy for candy colored Persian cat fashions by QooQoo, I made a cameo appearance in Randall's "On The Prowl" report from a NYC cat fashion show, and we celebrated Black Cat Appreciation Day with 21 pieces of black kitty inspired clothing.

Elsewhere, Maru's latest video taught us life lessons on perseverance and success, Jessi-Cat took top honors at the National Cat Awards for her role helping a young boy overcome his anxiety disorder, and cat cupcakes once again reigned supreme, with an adorable design made to resemble Carol's cats, in fondant form.

Lastly, if you haven't already, be sure to enter for your chance to win a cat quilted hipster bag from The Tiniest Tiger! This highly coveted item is the talk of the cat blogosphere, so get in your comment before I draw the lucky winner on Tues. 8/21!

Aybo-li and Pucca-Yo

This week's featured feline(s) are a family affair: Fur siblings Aybo-li and Pucca-Yo are the cousins of last week's featured cat, Chester Michael!

Jennifer (aka Aunt Jenny!) writes:

These are my fur babies, Aybo-li and Pucca-Yo (Aybo is the Bengal and Pucca is the Maine Coon), and yes there are biological brother and sister. They have different looks, but I have no idea how. They are 2-years-old, and I adopted them when they were just 4 months. A family member found them on the side of the road, and asked me if I wanted kittens. I love them to death, and they are the kids I will never have!

They spend their days lounging around, and are very spoiled. If their favorite cat food isn't present, they will make sure that I go to the nearest store to buy some. Pucca's hobbies consist of stealing all of my hair bows (even the ones off my hair when I'm asleep), and playing with them. She also likes hiding spools of thread.

Pew Pew Pew!

Aybo is lazy, but when he feels up to it (and he's not ripping and running outside), he tears every little piece of paper that he can find, and then walks away as if nothing happened. I love my fur babies, and even put them on my blog!

Special thanks to Jennifer for sharing Pucca and Aybo with us this week! I need to convince my relatives to adopt cats (they're mostly dog people), so that my kitties can have some feline cousins too!
