Paul & Joe La Maison Kitty Kitchenware Collection Serves Up A Side Of Cuteness

It's official! I'm getting married accepting marriage proposals, if only so I can add the entire line of Paul & Joe La Maison kitten-covered kitchen accoutrements to my imaginary registry.

The French label is no stranger to incorporating cats into their feminine, vintage inspired designs: Kitties have also appeared in past clothing collections, as well as their immensely popular line of feline cosmetics that included cat-shaped lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes.

La Maison features dishes, salt & pepper shakers, trays, and more, in three gorgeous patterns (kittens, cherry blossoms, and koi fish) that designer Sophie Albou says were inspired by the existing prints from her ready-to-wear collections. "I love the idea of creating a dinnerware collection that you can mix and match: a fish plate with a cat salad bowl, for instance," she explains.

Albou recently sat down with Fashionista to discuss the line, where she also revealed the real reason her designs are always so feline friendly: "I’ve always loved cats but very early on we realized I was allergic to them. As a child I was so sad not to be able to own one, that I now put cats in all of my designs!"

Paul & Joe La Maison will retail for $30 - $150, and will be available in Paul & Joe stores and on PaulandJoe.com.

@Georgia I don't know, but this French site is selling some of the items, so maybe yes?
