Etsy Find: Berkley Illustration

Berkley Illustration's Etsy shop is a treasure trove of beautifully quirky animal portraits. From dolphins in bow-ties to a panda with a pipe, these hand illustrated works of art are available in various sized prints and on magnets and bottle openers.

Of course, what initially drew me to the shop was the plethora of charming cat portraits. Also, in addition to their general awesomeness, each product description is accompanied by suitably charming insight into the life of its kitty subject.

Check out a few of my favorites below!

"Meet "The Wonder Kittens"! These two dazzle the elementary school circuit with their electric Double Dutch jump-rope routine. The kids go crazy for their "Star Wars/My Little Pony" mash-up double flips."

"After winning sixteen straight scratch-it lotto tickets, this lady realized she'd been lied to her entire life and she wasn't bad luck at all. Word got out and now the citizens of her town look forward to her crossing their path."

"Sometimes you just find a look that works and you stick with it. It works for this guy anyway and it's quite practical to boot. The turtleneck really helps prevent chafing during his hula-hoop routine."

"He earned it. Let's hear it for the "Best Hair" winner, Mr. Lion!"

"This lovely lady put on her best pearls just for you! Meet Victoria Swann, Crafty Cat. She enjoys knitting (she knitted this nice yellow sweater) and she also makes furniture out of salvaged materials. At the end of the day she likes to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea."

Like what you see? You can keep up with Ryan and Lucy Berkley through their Etsy shop and at their Let's Share blog.
