Kaffee Katze Wool Cat Paws Deliver Squishable Toe Beans Of Joy

Cat Paw Magnet

I'm pretty sure kitties have the cutest paws in the universe, and I've made it my life's work to uncover all of the cool stuff that represents them in creative ways (so far, a t-shirt, salt and pepper shakers, and marshmallows top the list). That being said, I feel confident when I declare my latest find, Kaffee Katze, an essential stop for the cat paw aficionado, where you'll get as close to the real thing as possible, without the actual cat.

Cat Paw Pencil Cap

Cat Paw Bookmarks

Shop owner Kannis is a skilled artisan, who uses needle-felted wool to create crazy accurate cat paw bookmarks, magnets, and pencil caps, along with tiny felted kitty brooches that come clutching mini hearts.

As Kannis told the Etsy blog back in October:

"My ideas come from my co-worker — my lovely cat, Kaffee. Kaffee is my muse!

Kaffee used his paws in creative, imaginative ways — to open the gate of kitchen to see what I’m making for dinner,  to push falling food back to into his small mouth when he is eating, and to get my attention by hitting my legs, shoulders or hands, letting me know when he wants to play. My cat’s paws are my helping hands."

In addition to her adorable wool designs, Kannis also runs Boogiecat, named after her beloved kitty, Boogie. The store is dedicated to her playful wire jewelry designs, that include cats in whimsical poses.

To fall even further down the rabbit hole of cuteness, clear your calendar to check out Kaffee Katze (and Boogiecat) on Etsy, where those of us who covet kitty paws are celebrated, instead of shamed for our strange addiction.

Pretty Your Paws with The Love Cats Jewelry Collection by Meadowlark

New Zealand-based jewelry designers Meadowlark have earned a cult following for their dark, edgy designs, and their latest collection, The Love Cats, follows suit, recalling imagery from a triptych of mystical elements.

From their website's description of the collection:

"Drawing inspiration from immediate surrounds, Meadowlark have elevated everyday elements from their home. Three diverse motifs dovetail beautifully into this range, evolving an ongoing love for symbols of power and mystery. The Peony, A celebration of Spring, prosperity and peace. Crossed nails, a symbol of binding and making, jewellery made of nails was historically worn as pagan protection against mischievous magic, to ward off sickness and draw luck to the wearer. Completing the triptych, the Cat story is the boldest of the three. This stoic and silent guardian of the home also represents transformation, opportunity and freedom."

Being a notorious lover of cat feetsies, I'm besotted by the entire line, especially the paw stud earrings, and the chunky cat paw cocktail ring, featuring a delicate set of kitty claws clutching at a pyramid shaped rose quartz.

The Love Cats Summer 2012/13 Collection is available for pre-order for your favorite cat blogger now through the Meadowlark online shop.

Magical Marshmallows Dissolve To Reveal A Pawsitively Purrfect Surprise

It used to be that having a cat paw appear in your drink was as easy as leaving your mug unattended on the kitchen table.

Now, thanks to revolutionary Japanese technology, you can have the same effect (sans cat hair) with a magical marshmallow that dissolves in your hot beverage, leaving the illusion of a pink paw pad floating in your hot chocolate.

Despite my best efforts, I couldn't figure out where to purchase these handmade delights - however Google translate was able to provide the following information: "Cat meatballs marshmallow" is launched by a Japanese specializing in selling cotton candy stores や wa wa da", the "cat meatballs marshmallow" is not directly eat to soak in the warm drinks inside."

Well that explains everything!

Update!: Susan was able to provide the correct translation! She says, "The name of the store is Marshmallow Senmonten Yawahada. "Senmonten" means "specialty shop." It looks as if the store is located in Nagano Prefecture. You can order from the store's website: http://sanpasta.ocnk.net/"

Thanks, Susan!

Spice Up Your Life With Cat Paw Salt & Pepper Shakers

Salt & Pepper Pawz - $38, Ladies & Gentlemen

Kitty paw soap? Been there. Fuzzy paws t-shirt? Done that. Cat Paw Salt and Pepper shakers? Hmm, now that's a new one - even for me! As strange and oddly unappealing the idea of shaking a disembodied cat's foot over your soup or salad might be, one cannot deny the whimsical charm a kitty paw can add to one's kitchen table. Most cat owners are used to a generous sprinkling of cat hair with every meal anyway - so what's the difference of a few feet?

Must Have Cat Paw T-Shirt Invites People To "Touch Your Pads"

Cat's Hands Shirt by SCOPY - $75, YesStyle

Cat paws are a popular topic over here at Catsparella. I mean, what's not to love about pretty pink paw pads and squishy jelly bean toes?

The Cat's Hands T-Shirt by SCOPY takes my admiration for kitty feet to a whole 'nother (if not peculiar) level, with a pair of fuzzy white paw appliqués, reminiscent of those touch and feel books you had as a kid. The text of the shirt reads, "This t-shirt was (*has) reproduced the sense and touch and texture of cat's hands. For the one who really loves cat's hands! Please touch my pads!"

Perfect for those who enjoy dressing with a sense of whimsy, aren't bothered by the use of incorrect grammar, and don't mind inviting complete strangers to come and feel them up.
