At 6:11 a.m. on 6/11, a kitten named Deucy came into the world. The rare cat, born under the sign of the Twins (Gemini), has one body and a pair of furry little faces.

Deucy's owner, Stephanie Durkee of Amity, Oregon, has been caring for the two-faced feline since she was rejected by her mother yesterday morning. While the survival rate of these so-called "Janus" cats (named after the Roman god with two heads) is low, a vet who has seen Deucy says that she is healthy and strong.

Massachusetts feline Frank and Louie currently holds the Guinness Record as the longest living Janus cat in the world. The extraordinary kitty clinched the title after celebrating his 12th birthday in 2011.

I'm not sure how I feel about this new kitten. I'm sad for it, but if it grows up in a loving home it has a chance for a good life. Animals don't know they are any different than others. Keep us posted how it goes.

Does anyone know if Deucy has separate brains for each kitty face? If so, I wonder if each kitty eats separately. Maybe Deucy is two kittens in one body, so maybe they should name the other kitty too.

Joilene: I don't know about Deucy, but Frank and Louie only has one brain: The cat has one head and brain, two mouths, two noses, two seeing eyes, and one non-functioning eye that sits in the middle of his head like a cyclops.

I'm kind-of unsure as what to say. I think it's kind of cute, but I'm not sure if I would want it due to the fact that it's survival rate is slim to none because when I get atached to something It feals 10 times as worse then when I see a random cat hit on the side of the road.

Cute little kitty. I hope she lives long just like the normal cats.
