Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!
This week, Grumpy Cat made her debut on The Today Show, Lil Bub showed up in cupcake form, United Bamboo offered up tiny fashions for chic felines, and I dished out 10 holiday gift ideas for the discriminating cat lady in your life!
Also, yesterday morning I visited The Dr. Oz Show to discuss a funny (cat-related) home remedy that I've written about in the past. I'm not sure when the segment is going to air, but once I have confirmation I'll give you the "scoop"!
And finally, don't forget to enter for your chance to win an adorable Meowie Christmas Tote from Hotline Ink, and meet their handsome kitty model, Gorgeous George! I'm drawing the lucky winner this coming Monday, 12/10!
This week's featured kitty is a fortunate feline with some "Lucky" spare digits!
This is my kitty, Lucky! She is polydactyl, which means she has extra toes on each of her front feet. Her extra lucky toes are how she got her name. She also has a cropped tail, and I always tell people that it looks like a candy cane because it is about half the size of normal tail, and curved at the end.
Taking one of her 19 naps a day!
I've nicknamed her Kiki, a different spin on Lucky, and I've had the pleasure of calling her my own for over seven years now. She is my fuzzy little daughter, the only lil one I need running around my house. Thanks for taking the time to take an interest in what I beliveve to be the best cat-daughter in the world!
Putting the bitey on
These have always brought me luck...
Special thanks to Melissa for sharing her darling daughter with us this week!
