My favorite internet cat, Henri, le Chat Noir, is back with a new video to celebrate my favorite holiday, Halloween! The philosophical French(ish) feline lambasts the idea of costumes, decorations, and even pumpkins themselves, before suffering the indignity of wearing a costume right next to his nemesis, the white imbecile. 

"They say black cats are bad luck," the tuxedo cat says. "(It is) an obvious ploy to hide their jealousy."

Fresh off of his Golden Kitty win at last month's Internet Cat Video Film Fest, The Seattle Times asked Henri, le Chat Noir to make a short video sharing his political opinions. While the philosophical feline didn't endorse a specific candidate in the upcoming presidential election, he did manage a meow-out to Tuxedo Stanley, his feline look-a-like who is running for mayor of Halifax.

"Perhaps worshipping cats as living gods, as the Egyptians did, is too much to hope for, " Henri mew-ses. "But a few city council seats would be a great start."

It should come as no surprise that Henri, le Chat Noir has ignited the cataloons of at least one equally tormented female admirer by the name of Anais Mittins. Heck, if I were a lady cat, I'd probably have a crush on the handsome, moody, and French feline film star too.

Could a new mistress be just the ticket to curing Henri's ongoing ennui, or would a long-distance love affair with a fickle kitten just send him further down the spiral?

Out favorite existential feline, Henri, Le Chat Noir, is back with the third installment of his groundbreaking series, documenting his ongoing battle with cat boredom. The video picks up right where the last one left off, with Henri insisting that nothing has changed, despite his sudden burst of internet fame.

The tortured tuxedo cat also gets a much needed change of scenery when he finds himself at the vet, but is once again disappointed when the doctor disregards his tortured meows. "I tell the doctor about my depressive state, and my growing disillusionment with the world," he laments. "But he just checks for gunk in my ears."

Pondering the meaninglessness of life...and sleeping. It's all in a day's work for Henri, le Chat Noir, a 8-year-old tuxedo cat who stars in two popular YouTube videos about his listless existence as a bored house cat.

We first got a look at Henri's black & white malaise back in 2007, and now a long awaited follow-up gives us a fresh look at the handsome kitty who years later, is still filled with "ennui and tuna."
