Halloween Panda Kitty Our fluffy friends at SweetFurr have an annual tradition of dressing up in adorable costumes while chowing down on their favorite snacks, and this year they didn't disappoint! Persians Mochi and Cooper have dressed up as a banana split, apple, and orange in the past, but this Halloween, cutie Cooper decided to go incognito as a panda in a fuzzy black and white suit. Have you had enough wide-eyed kitten cuteness for the day, or can you handle just a little bit more? SweetFurr, home of perennial Catsparella favorites like Mochi, Cooper, Pancake, and Moo Moo, recently welcomed the newest addition to their family in the form of a tiny, fluffy kitten who could only go by one name: Marshmallow.
Baby Marshy is the offspring of Persian cat Mochi and Exotic Shorthair Jumbo Pillow, and even shares her Mama's unusual gray ear markings. Her earliest moments have been caught on film right from the start, and they've just released another update on the five-week-old kitten who has already mastered the iPad and is giving high-fives on command.
Congratulations to Sweet Furr on their adorable new addition! We can't wait to see what the future holds in store for this incredible little cat, and are looking forward to watching her grow up!

As long as SweetFurr continues to post videos of their adorable fur babies being fed while wearing costumes, I'll remain morally obligated to post them! Here, Jumbo Pillow celebrates Christmas and his 1st Birthday with a steamed cod feast, while dressed like a festive holiday penguin.
While his older brother Cooper opted to go with a fun citrus costume this year, Jumbo Pillow decided to keep it spooky with a menacing plush pumpkin hat and spooky black cape. So who or what was this pumpkin vampire kitty's unwitting victim? Put down your garlic, because all he's after is some freshly boiled chicken dipped in pure pumpkin! (Although truth be told, I'd rather get bitten by a cat than by Robert Pattinson.)
I'm always excited to see what the SweetFurr kitties have up their little paw sleeves for Halloween. Last year, they delighted us with sweet fruit themed costumes, when Mochi was an apple, and Cooper was a banana split. This year, Coops went with an adorable citrus outfit, complemented by the sounds of him nomming some oranges and slurping some OJ. His whole ensemble is the purrfect way to add some Vitamin C into your diet.
I'm a big fan of SweetFurr, the furry family of cats and dogs that have charmed the world through their hugely popular YouTube Channel. I was lucky enough to interview their owners back in February, and they couldn't have been nicer! They love their pets very much, and would do anything for them.

Last Wednesday, SweetFurr posted a plea to pray for Choco Ball, their 9-month-old Exotic Shorthair kitten who was suddenly hospitalized for liver problems. News that the youngest member of their family had fallen seriously ill was shocking, and was met with an outpouring of support from the online community. The family did everything they could to save her, but sadly, she passed away on Friday from what they believe was FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), a fatal incurable disease in cats.

Instead of creating this post in sadness, I wish it to be a celebration of Choco's life, and of all the happiness she brought to her family, and to the thousands of people who enjoyed her videos.
Choco Ball, you were truly special, and will never be forgotten by those who loved you. You brightened many lives with your sweetness and cute antics, and we feel fortunate that your family shared so many of your adorable moments with us. May you rest in peace, and be chasing butterflies in kitty heaven!

If you're a fan of cute cat videos, chances are you've seen at least one, if not several, clips by the furry animal collective known as SweetFurr!
The SweeFurr family consists of two dogs, Sweetie and FurFur, and five cats: Cooper, Marie, Pancake, Mochi, and Choco Ball. I'm a huge fan of these exotic kitties, and recently contacted their owner, who was nice enough to take the time to answer some of my questions. We discussed everything from tips on getting good pet pictures, to exclusive news about a possible addition to their cuddly clan!

Where did the name SweetFurr come from?
SweetFurr originated from the names of the first 2 members of our furbaby family, Sweetie (Shiffon) and FurFur (Shi Tzu), whom are the inspiration for our blog.
Your family currently consists of two dogs and five cats. Does everyone get along?
They get along very well. During the first few days a new furbaby is introduced to the family, there would be some hissing between the felines, and Sweetie would be even more excited than usual while FurFur is typically nonchalant. After this icebreaker period, the felines start welcoming the newbie with tongue baths and playful chases, whereas the canines engage in their own separate activities for the most part because they enjoy different games and toys.

You have two Persians (Cooper and Mochi), two Exotic Shorthairs (Pancake and Choco Ball), and one Himalayan cat (Marie). What is it that attracted you to these particular breeds?
We were enchanted by the adorable, cartoon-like face of Persian kitties. Likewise, Exotic Shorthairs and Himalayans have similar features to Persians, and they also fall under the umbrella of the Persian breed as per the Cat Fanciers’ Association.

What inspired you to start posting videos of your pets on YouTube? What was the first video you posted?
One of our dear friends was a loving owner of many cats before, but unfortunately, she later developed an allergy to cats. We started posting our pet videos because we wanted to share our pets with her. Our first YouTube video was very simple, and featured our female Himalayan kitty, Marie, climbing down a scratch post.

To date, your videos have had hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube (Chopsticks Feeding Kitty is currently #1 with almost 1 million views). Were you surprised by the popularity and all of the attention they've received in the media? Do the kitties know they're famous?
We were surprised and ecstatic that our furbabies are able to enchant the hearts of others as well. We would like to think that our kitties have no inkling of their popularity. However, the many instances in which they act like royalty sometimes make us believe otherwise. Perhaps, it could just be the regal nature of felines.
Do you have a personal favorite SweetFurr video?
We have many favorite videos, two of which include “Persian kitten overcomes fear of height for food” and “Mischievous Kitten Mochi”. In the former, Cooper’s high-pitched, cartoon-like meows sound really cute and unique. In the latter, Mochi displays her playful character, which never fails to turn a frown upside down. She still loves to randomly pounce others on a daily basis.
Your kitties seem very calm and well-behaved. Do you spend a lot of time training them?
We try to spend 5-10 minutes training our pets daily, usually within half an hour of their evening mealtime. We find that this is one of the times when they are most interested, focused and motivated to learn.
Can you offer any tips for our readers on getting good pet pictures?
With regards to getting good pet pictures and videos, we always try to have a camera nearby to capture any adorably interesting moments that we witness. Moreover, we use objects like a dangling toy or a bell to attract our pets’ full attention, so that they will curiously gaze in the camera’s direction with beautiful, wide-open eyes.
The newest member of the SweetFurr family is a kitten named Choco Ball, born this past July. Are there any plans to add to the family anytime soon?
Yes, we will be welcoming another male kitten to our family within the next couple months. You may even see kittens from Mochi and Choco Ball by the end of this year or early next year. So please continue to visit us for more information.

Our friends at SweetFurr have done it again with another amazing video of one of their precious kitties eating food in the cutest way possible. This time, sweet fluffy-faced Mochi is wearing a beautiful kimono while eating delectable sushi from chopsticks!
Mochi's owners explain, "We set aside a few pieces of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail for our kimono kitty Mochi to savor. Due to safety concerns, we heated up the sushi for some time. We also requested and made sure that there was no wasabi underneath the fish, because wasabi is strongly acidic and can cause stomach upset in pets. We mainly fed Mochi the fish portion. She really enjoyed the sushi, especially the yellowtail."
The kitties of SweetFurr had a very happy Thanksgiving this year, as they noisily nommed down on an unseasoned turkey drumstick.

As for me, I took some creative license with my leftovers. This cat has a mashed potato head, walnut eyes and nose (taken from the sweet potatoes), stuffing mouth and ears, and turkey whiskers!
Last week brought us kitty Cooper in his banana split costume eating a banana, and this week brings his sister Mochi munching on an apple slice while dressed as an apple! Say goodbye to your loved ones before watching this folks, because you're gonna die of cuteness.
Always on the lookout for the newest in online cat cuteness, today I discovered pretty persian Mochi and the rest of her furry family over at SweetFurr. Baby Mochi is only four and a half months old, but she's already the cutest cat on the internetz.
